Just wanted to say sorry about that night in denver when you played with of all bands murpheys law. I was a little wasted and kind of violent that night. although it was kind of funny though looking back. I got fined tough for causing a diturbance and damage of private property.

PLEASE play in New England again. I couldn't make it to the New Haven show and really miss seeing y'all play. You have one of the best live shows I've ever seen-but it's been way too long (Portland, Maine, october 1998 to be exact). So please come to massachusetts, and show these yankees what greasy rock and roll is all about.

Wonderful show in detroit! (march 17, 2000).

Yeah! I took a short trip to Columbia, Mo last week to catch Hi-Fi and the boys at the Blue Note. AWESOME show. Not many people there, but that's Columbia for ya. Hopefully the Roadburners will make it to Kansas City, soon. A lot of people would like to see them. Took some good pictures (maybe they'll let me post them here). Yo, Hi-Fi! I haven't seen Nico OR his fish market, yet!! C

I miss Illinois! You guys should check out a little bar in Central Illinois called Friend and Co.! They have had some rockin bands there and are having the Cowslingers play for the millionth time in February. The people there really know how to throw down and they would make a complete event out of you being there. It is Illinois' best kept secret! These guys know their music, but best of all they know how to live it up right. Just a suggestion!

Even though I work in commercial rock radio, my heart lies with the power and fury of true roots rock. I brought my girlfriemd that night at 1-2-3 pleasent, and she was converted. I'm hosting a blues, jump blues, and swing party at the bar I work at part-time. You can bet a lot of tracks from "Flat Iron Years" will get played. The scene in the Chicago area is great, but now a days it is mostly oi! and hardcore. There a very few bands out there that know how to rock. HiFi and the Roadburners hold the title for the rockin'est band in the area as far as I am concerned. I am trying to start a rockabilly band, but there are very few people interested. I was just reading the guestbook, and read a response from another cat from San Antone. He's right, I too was at that show at Hootnanny. You cats rocked the joint even though there was a shitty turnout. The scene is fickle in San Antone, but the true greasers always show support. Hopefully you'll swing by San Antone again. Get up and Go!

True to life rock and roll played with the intensity and cool one wants from a rockabilly band. Please visit us again.

i can't help but think that you guys didnt really dig your last visit to san antonio, texas. Let me appologive and say that despite the turn-out at hootnanies the band is very well respected in texas. Based on the shity crowd i dont blame you guys if you never come back, but would appreciate it if you did. I sure had a fucking ball. and got a good laugh out of your roadie sellin the shirts and disks who was singin and air-drummin to every song. The music is more energtic and original than most other censored out there. Thanks for making the trip south.
