A lot of things are bound to happen when three guys and three gals get together. In the case of The Honeybees, it's all "Honey this"and "Honey that." Buzzing around a few years now, the bees have a brand new line-up and have never sounded sweeter.

Barb-bee

Barbara Clifford/Vocals
After Killing em' on the college circuit with the Bedbugs for six years, Barb came back to her first home in music, rockabilly. Loved on the scene for her sweet dance steps and just being a sweetheart, there is nothing sweeter than hearing Barb's vocal fronting The Bees.

Theresa-bee

Theresa Drda/Drums
Theresa is a welcome and familiar sight to us all on the rockabilly scene back there beatin' the tubs. She has played that rock-a-beatin' beat on her vintage kit for The Mummy's, The Greaseballs, and The Fireflies. Theresa is an original member of The Honeybees and the sweet time she keeps for The Bees may just give you a toothache.

Rachel-bee

Rachel Decker/Vocals
The lovely Rachel Decker is a new addition to The Honeybees. Rachel is a newbee on the Chicago Rockabilly Scene and we're thrilled that she has taken her honey laden vocal to the stage. Rachel, was brought on by Barb through an ad. After hearing her sing 1 time, the Bees brought her into the hive. She brings that rockin' twang to the mix.

Manny-bee

Manny Guevara/Guitar
Before Manny Guevara was invited into the hive, he was pickin’ guitar with the Greaseballs, the Git’ Gone Boys and the Penthouse Playboys. Without much “delay”, Manny fit right in with the rest of the Bees. From trills to twang, Manny loves to play all styles of guitar. He's the newest addition so keep a lookout for him.

Michael-bee

Michael comes to Bees from within the Hive. Michael is married to Theresa and has been honeydripping around for a while. When Phil decided to leave, Michael was invited to fill-in. Why not? He knew all the songs from hearing the bees practice below him. Michael is a perfect fit in the hive.

Mark-bee

Mark Braun/Guitar/Pedal steel
Mark is also a new addition to the hive. He has "rocked on that steel guitar" with various other bands in Chicago. Mark was stung when friends, Theresa and Michael, asked to help out but has decided to stay. He's added that steel swing sound as well as rhythm guitar that give the Honeybees a fuller sound.

Look for The Honeybees and a sweet rockin' time at a club near you. Don't worry about having your drinks mixed cause when The Bees hit the stage, there will be enough hip shakin' and tappin' feet to do it for you!
