| Comments: | wow... last time i saw the frantic flattops it was at the next decade six years ago. i was 15 and wasnt quite old enough to get into the venue, but my dad (whos in the rockabilly hall of fame) got me in to hear 'em repeatedly. i had a lot of fond memories from then. frank would kiss me on the cheek and get me a coke, and id take my spot in front of the stage staring dreamily as the band played on. i have a few pics of myself and frank in my photoalbum. i still wear my flattops shirt and remember the days when the decade was still open. once it closed the flattops played at the 31st street pub where i couldnt get in. now that im 21 id love to see them again. not that they'd have any idea who i am, but it would still be worth it. |

I was pleasently surprised to hear such a wonderful opening band at the Reverend Horton Heat show at the Masquerade in Atlanta last Saturday (2/3).
